For over 20 years the Darlington Family has offered refuge to Wolves who have found themselves without a place in the natural world. It has been over a hundred years since the last wild Wolf was known to exist in Pennsylvania.

Full Moon

One of the nice things about being at Solomons Island when there is a full moon is you can catch the sunset on one side of the island.............and go to the east side and get the moon rise.

The next evening the almost full moon was over the Smithsonian Castle on the Mall.....

The Capitol building is beautiful anytime with or without the moon.

This past weekend was the Long Island NY Lighthouse Challenge. Ten lighthouses not as many steps as NJ challenge. Three of the lighthouse you can only see from the shore. We drove 890 miles rode 2 ferry's and one 30ft cabin cruiser. We went with people we have been friends with for 24 years and laughed the whole time. These lighthouse challenges are not just about lighthouse.
