Mississippi
I spent a week in Mississipi with my son Joe working with a organization called PDA. We were in a small town called Pearlington. The town is along the Pearl river, 45 min north of New Orleans. The town was flatten by Katrina. They still have no Post Office or schools. To learn more about Pearlington than I can put here read this site http://operationeden.blogspot.com. Most of my week was mudding ,sanding and painting drywall.

This is MS Suzie with her lump of sugar (Joe). She survived Katrina by holding on to a post on her front porch. She is 75 years young.

Good for you for picking up and making a difference in this world.
Weird little container you stayed in. I bet it was loud in the storm.
Well said.
